The initial "wait interval" is set to an amount of delay specified by the spf-hold value. If an SPF calculation is not
scheduled during the current "wait interval", the next SPF calculation is scheduled at a delay of
spf-start. If there has been an SPF calculation scheduled during the current "wait interval", the
"wait interval" is set to two times the current "wait interval" until the "wait interval" reaches the maximum time in
milliseconds as specified in spf-maximum. Subsequent wait times remain at the maximum until the values are
reset or an LSA is received between SPF calculations.
